Why should you become a donor?

There are currently more than 120,000 men, women and children who desperately need a lifesaving organ transplant in America alone. Despite the advances made in both technology and medicine the need for organs and tissue continues to grow. Donation gives hope to thousands of people with organ failure and renews the quality and activity of life for thousands of other people.

If you want to join the Alaska Donor Registry you do so in any of the following ways:

  • Call 907-562-LIFE (5433) or 800-719-LIFE (5433) outside of Anchorage to request a brochure.
