Professional Development

Life Alaska employs a staff of dedicated professionals who work with hospitals, first responders, hospice agencies and funeral homes throughout Alaska to educate professionals in the community about organ, eye and tissue donation, legislation and other issues surrounding donation. Our professional development team conducts in-services and workshops for nurses, physicians, social workers, and all staff members who would benefit from education on organ, eye and tissue donation.

Our goal is to increase awareness of the unique opportunity that donation provides in helping satisfy the existing need for organs, corneas and tissues.
